Loryn Light, CRS, CSP, Broker
Technically a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Loryn has established deep roots in Central Oregon as a Bend resident for the past 44 years, during which time she raised a family and pursued multiple careers. Engaged in real estate briefly in 1980, Loryn reinstated her broker’s license in 2001 and was an agent with Sunriver Realty for six years before joining The Garner Group in July 2008.
Loryn graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and obtained her Oregon teacher’s certificate after completing postgraduate work in Education. She taught in elementary and junior high schools in Bend. She also obtained a life insurance and securities license while in Bend, and served as a fashion consultant for a high-end clothing company based in New York City.
Loryn has earned Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) designations from the National Assn. of Realtors. She is a member of P.E.O. International, a women’s philanthropic educational organization, and has three grown children: Kari, an escrow officer with Western Title Co. in Bend; Jennifer, an aesthetician in Bend; and Jared, a practicing dentist in Ashland, Ore. She is an avid ski enthusiast and enjoys RVing, hiking and golf with husband Eddie.
