Lodging choices abound
As Bend and surrounding Central Oregon cities have grown, stimulated in no small part by the tourist industry, so have the number of lodging choices available. They range from quaint bed and breakfasts to full-service hotels and resorts, and cater to business travelers and vacationers alike. While some accommodations aim toward the thrifty traveler, others pull no punches when it comes to luxury, convenience and amenities. Business centers and wireless Internet are commonly available.A luxury Oxford Suites hotel is under construction in downtown Bend by the Baney Corp. and two new hotel complexes near Roberts Field in Redmond are in the planning stages, as is a new hotel-restaurant complex at the north end of Redmond.
