Matt has been a licensed real estate professional since October 2004. A native of Portland, he has lived in Bend since 1991, except for a short hiatus in Portland where he was lead tea blender at Tazo Tea Co. before obtaining his Oregon real estate Broker’s license there.Matt also has sold shopping newspaper advertising to Central Oregon retail and auto accounts. In addition to serving real estate clients as a Broker, Matt is a proficient photographer who provides professional-quality photos of properties listed by The Garner Group. His Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation was earned through completion of three week-long courses and examinations in specialized real estate topics such as real estate finance, law, ethics, taxation and communication skills.
Matt is an eclectic enthusiast of snowboarding, mountain biking, horticulture, photography and automobiles. He lives in southeast Bend with wife Lindsey, son Karson and Weimaraner siblings Bronson and Bridger.
Matt has earned the National Assn. of Realtors GREEN designation. This certification by NAR's Green Resource Council came upon completion of a three-day classroom course focusing on fundamentals of green building practices, consumer awareness and marketing of homes built to green standards.
