BEND, Ore.--Home builders represented by The Garner Group earned multiple awards in judging conducted during the Central Oregon Builders Assn. 2008 Tour of Homes, which concluded July 27. They are:
Blue Skies Development and High Desert Homes, for a Deschutes riverfront townhome at 3178 NW Quiet River Lane in Bend's River's Edge neighborhood: Best of Show, Best Architectural Design, Best Interior Finish, Best Kitchen and Best Master Suite in the $800,000-$1,000,000 class.
Viking Construction, for a luxurious Prairie-style home at 2931 NW Celilo Lane atop Shevlin Crest on Bend's west side: Best Value, Best Feature (Outdoor Living Area) and Best Landscaping in the $700,000-$800,000 bracket.
Craftsman Homes, for a modern interpretation of a Craftsman-style bungalow at 2461 NW Sacagawea Lane in the NorthWest Crossing neighborhood on Bend's west side: Best Landscaping and Best Garage in the $350,000-$400,000 group plus the Green Building Award in the $300,000-$400,000 division.
Stonebridge Homes NW, for a feature-packed two-story Prairie-style home at 2956 NE Conners Ave. in the Eagles Landing neighborhood in northeast Bend: Best Value in the $250,000-$300,000 class.
