The Garner Group signs on
as Fair concert sponsor
BEND, Ore.--The Garner Group Realtors & Development LLC has launched a radio blitz in the metro Bend area that will culminate in sponsorship of the three headline concerts during the Deschutes County Fair July 29-Aug. 1. The Garner Group will be the primary sponsor of the Lady Antebellum concert Aug. 1 and will be a participating sponsor of concerts by country/western newcomer Jake Owen and rock superstar Peter Frampton July 29 and 30, respectively. We gave away many free tickets during the 2008 COBA Tour of Homes™ and have a few left for Lady Antebellum.

The Garner Group’s radio schedule calls for 400 radio commercials through the spring and summer on Combined Communications' Bend Oregon stations KBND Newstalk 1110, KLRR-FM Clear 101.7 and KMTK-FM 99.7 The Mountain. The stations fully book the fair concerts and offer free tickets through Listener Appreciation promotions. The Garner Group real estate company will be identified as a sponsor in the stations’ media promotion and at the Hooker Creek Event Center, the venue for the fair concerts. Lady Antebellum (pictured), a vocal trio and band, was named Top New Group at the 2008 Academy of Country Music awards and has been on the iTunes Top 10 Country Albums list for the past 12 consecutive months. The group currently is touring as an opening act for country star Kenny Chesney. Singer Jake Owen is a regular on the touring circuit and has been nominated for two Country Music Television awards. Grammy Award winner and guitar virtuoso Peter Framption began his musical career in his native England during the 1960s. He has toured and recorded extensively and has earned international fame over the decades since.
