GRI, CNHS, E-Pro, EcoBroker
Heather Coleman brings two decades of Oregon real estate experience to The Garner Group. A native of Lake Oswego and a graduate of Linfield College, she is a second generation Realtor® and has been a licensed Broker since 1989.
Heather entered the field in partnership with her mother, Linda Haldors, an agent in the Portland area for 35 years. Her father, Jim Haldors, was a custom home builder.Heather has been active continuously in real estate on both sides of the Cascades and maintains affiliations in both regions. She moved to Central Oregon in 2008 and transferred her license to The Garner Group in December 2009.
Family recreation activities that center on horseback riding and skiing brought the Colemans to Central Oregon first as vacationers and later as residents. Heather and Bob Coleman have been married for more than 20 years and are parents of three children: Megan, 19, a student at Linfield College; Sara, 15; and Hayden, 13. The Colemans live on acreage in Tumalo where they keep three horses, three dogs and three cats.
Heather has earned certification in several real estate specialties through advanced education programs offered by the National Assn. of Realtors and other organizations. These are:
- Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), earned upon completing advanced courses administered by the National Assn. of Realtors applying to general real estate knowledge and practice.
- Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS), a designation earned upon completion of courses focusing on new home sales.
- E-Pro, a National Assn. of Realtors technology certification program aimed at enhancing Internet knowledge and proficiency.
- EcoBroker, a designation awarded by EcoBroker International following completion of courses relating to green building technology.
Heather is licensed in the state of Oregon
