Shevlin Pines is being developed by Tennbrook LLC, a joint venture of Brooks Resources and Tennant Developments Inc. The 60 lots in the neighborhood were originally platted by Renaissance Homes and some new homes were constructed. Tennbrook LLC purchased the remaining 53 lots in the summer of 2010 and is releasing them in phases to control development. The first release of 14 lots took place in the fall of 2010, followed by a second phase in 2011. All have been purchased by builders. Homebuilders active in the neighborhood are Choice One Builders, Greg Welch Construction, Rivers Northwest, Stone Bridge Homes NW, Jeramy Rynning Construction and Leader Builders. Plans are subject to review by an Architectural Review Committee. Shevlin Pines is inside the city of Bend and all city services are available. Land surrounding the neighborhood is privately owned and there are no current plans for development. Shevlin Park, a 653-acre regional park in largely natural condition, laced with trails for walking and cycling, is a short distance to the west.
