Forest Meadows II

Forest Meadows II is a pocket neighborhood in a convenient Southwest Bend location that is being developed by Woodhill Homes with emphasis on green building, efficient packaging and competitive price points. Woodhill co-owner Jay Campbell describes the homes as both smart and responsible. “We build competitive, energy-efficient homes,” he said. Homes are third-party certified with Earth Advantage and Energy Star, indicating they will use up to 20% less energy than traditionally-built homes. Low-VOC paints and a 90% efficient gas furnace are specified. Woodhill was named Central Oregon Green Builder of the Year in 2009 and is certified as a Sustainable Homes Professional (SHP) by the Earth Advantage Institute.

The furnished model home at 19748 Dartmouth Ave. won 2011 COBA Tour of Homes awards for Best of Show, Best Value, Best Architectural Design, Best Kitchen, Best Interior Finish and Best Landscaping in its price class. A Woodhill entry in the 2008 Tour of Homes won six awards, including best in class.

Lots are generous in size, ensuring plenty of back yard space. The neighborhood is home to several native juniper, ponderosa and lodgepole pines that are removed only as necessary to accommodate the footprint of each home.
