An Oregon native, Alison moved to Bend from Portland in 1994. She has been in real estate since August 2001 and is a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP). This designation is awarded by the National Assn. of Home Builders based on completion of an educational program directed toward new home sales, marketing and customer service.
Before becoming a licensed Broker, Alison was engaged in the title and escrow segments of the industry. At The Garner Group, Alison is instrumental in helping clients through the entire process: representation, negotiation and closing. She has been involved in managing the many details involved in bringing new home neighborhoods into the team’s portfolio and has become knowledgeable about the short sale process in order to help real estate buyers and sellers navigate the process.
Alison and husband David Mata live in southeast Bend with their children Reid and Angelina. She sings with Harmony 4 Women, a women’s a cappella choral group.
Alison has earned the National Assn. of Realtors GREEN designation. This certification by NAR's Green Resource Council came upon completion of a three-day classroom course focusing on fundamentals of green building practices, consumer awareness and marketing of homes built to green standards.
