An Oregon native who has lived in Portland, Maupin and Bend, Jay was a small business entrepreneur for many years. He was one of the founding principals of Stash Tea Co. in Portland and was engaged in luxury auto sales before obtaining his real estate license in 1991.
Jay and Sandy Garner formed The Garner Group as a team within a leading national real estate franchise in Bend and grew quickly to become the top producing team within the agency and the number one team in the western states. The Garner Group reorganized as an independent real estate company in January 2008 and later moved its office from the Old Mill District to NorthWest Crossing.
Jay is focused on financial management and business development. He is active in sales training and agent development and is The Garner Group’s troubleshooter, finding solutions to problems as they arise. He is the “go to” source for assistance in any element of the business.
