Sandy is a native and lifelong resident of Central Oregon. She has held an Oregon real estate license since 1979 and has practiced continuously since then with realty companies in Redmond and Bend. 
Sandy was affiliated with a leading national real estate franchise in Bend from 1987 until the end of 2007 and earned many regional, national and international sales awards over the course of that period. She was top producing residential agent in Oregon for five consecutive years and rated among the top one per cent internationally for over a decade.
During that period, Sandy formed The Garner Group, which became the top producing team within the agency and the number one team in the western states. The Garner Group reorganized as an independent real estate company in January 2008, registering as a limited liability company in the state of Oregon. Offices were established in Bend, first in the Old Mill District and later in NorthWest Crossing.
Much of Sandy’s career has focused on new home neighborhoods. She created the model for The Garner Group’s business relationship with some of Central Oregon’s top home builders, bringing market savvy and consumer preference knowledge to bear in the early stages of new home design and development. She has worked with builders and developers to market successfully some of Bend’s landmark residential developments, including award-winning neighborhoods that made Craftsman period design Bend’s signature architectural style.
Sandy has earned certification by the National Assn. of Realtors as a Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). Both are achieved through ongoing advanced professional training and attainment of performance benchmarks.
