You wouldn’t enter the boxing ring without a good cut man in your corner. You wouldn’t head out for the OK Corral without Wyatt, Morgan, Virgil and Doc by your side. Get the picture?
Realtors® have resources that are not available to you as an individual seller. Add the combined experience of The Garner Group’s agents and you have a winning combination. That “For Sale By Owner” yard sign won’t allow your home to be shared with other Realtors® through the Multiple Listing Service, Realtor.com or many other databases. While every real estate agent dreams of earning commission on both sides of the transaction, the truth of the matter is that most sales come from the broader exposure to other agents and companies in the area. Fizzbos can’t compete.
Other reasons: a reputable Realtor® will focus on qualified prospects, saving you time and energy. Most agents will not show a FSBO because there is no economic motivation for them to do so. Without the benefit of a competitive market analysis and the data available through a Realtor®, chances are that the lone wolf seller will set an unrealistic price. And the forms, disclosures and legalities involved in today’s real estate world? Don’t even go there.
