The Garner Group Realtors and Development LLC became an independent company on Jan. 1, 2008, organized as a limited liability company (LLC) in the state of Oregon. The group grew out of a partnership between Jay and Sandy Garner to become the leading team within Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate, Bend’s top producing real estate agency.
Sandy Garner is the company’s president and Chief Executive Officer. A native of Central Oregon, Sandy has been an award-winning Realtor in the region for 29 years and was a licensed Broker with Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate for 20 years. Sara LaFaver is Principal Broker, with 15 years in the related fields of real estate sales and management, title and escrow services, and real estate taxation and assessment.
Among The Garner Group’s 20 employees and associates are 17 licensed Brokers, 14 of whom are active in real estate sales. Support staff members are responsible for transaction and account management, office and financial management, and marketing.
The company has an active portfolio of residential real estate listings and currently is exclusive listing agent for five new home subdivisions in Bend: Eagles Landing, McCall Landing, Monterey Park, Breckenridge and Northcrest. The Garner Group is also the exclusive listing agent for properties owned by West Bend Property Co., the developer, in NorthWest Crossing. In the past, company has successfully marketed neighborhoods including Foxborough, SageWood, Larkspur, Northpointe, TriPeaks and Empire Crossing in Bend, and Wheeler Ranch in La Pine.

From 2000 through 2006, Sandy was responsible for over $500 million in sales recorded by Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate. She has been Coldwell Banker’s top producing associate in Oregon for the past five years. In 2006, Sandy and The Garner Group ranked ninth among teams of all sizes throughout the international Coldwell Banker franchise and No. 1 in sales volume and No. 2 in units sold throughout the company’s 17-state Western Region. She has been a member of the Coldwell Banker President’s Premier/Elite club for over a decade, indicating sales in the top one percent of Coldwell Banker associates internationally.
