Kim was amazing to work with! In Sept 2018, we cold called her office to schedule a quick hello/ phone screen. When she called us back, after a quick conversation about what we were looking for, she said "Okay, well I'm just going to head out for a quick mountain bike ride, but call me later if you have any questions" - at that moment, we knew we loved her. After listening to our feedback, Kim curated a great list of homes for us to see in October, but any internet search can help you with the list building. What she really brought to the table was a positive attitude, and so much proactive help and local knowledge. We closed on our house in December 2018, thanks very much to Kim's support. And when we moved in (the week of Christmas) and our moving truck arrived 5 hours early and we weren't available, she was able to meet them at the house, left us flowers, and has continued to be a welcome source of support. Kim is the best. We met Kim at a NW Crossings open house Labor Day weekend. She impressed us with her knowledge of the Bend market and particularly gave us confidence that we would have no problem renting our Bend home until we moved over in a few years. We met Kim the summer of 2016 when my husband and I discussed buying a retirement home in Bend. Our search was logistically tricky because we lived in Seattle. What made it even trickier was only having one afternoon to meet for the first time and look at a few houses before leaving town. It would take only one more time for me and my husband to separately come back to Bend during our intensive 3-month search before we found “the one”. Kim made it feel so easy, but I recognized what she did behind the scenes to make it all work. Communication was crucial and because Kim quickly understood what we were looking for, we were able to be super-efficient in our hunt. To accommodate the geographical distance, she took the time to video record the entire house, the entire yard, and all with great commentary it was 2nd best to being there! On one of my visits, she gave me a tour of different areas in Bend and it was apparent that Kim has tremendous pride in her town. She also knows a lot about the area giving me insight to the real estate trends and which neighborhoods were better investments. On a personal level, I know honesty and hard work is what she contributes back to her community. I connected to the parent in her and to the person who wants to do her best. I loved working with Kim the entire process. Before closing, Kim was amazing in making sure all items were checked off with both city requirements and ours. That took a ton of organization with the different properties we had looked. It was a lot to track, but she did it. Such a huge relief being able to rely on her with all the details. After closing, Kim’s work didn’t stop there. She went out of her way to meet with sub-contractors on our behalf and even once moved heavy furniture into the garage that was delivered too late! We thank Kim for getting us the exact home, in the exact location, and at the exact budget for us --all within 90 days! She helped make our retirement dreams come true!
